How can I book you?

It’s quite simple. Go to our contact page, or email LouisDan@LouisDanInvisibleBand.com.

How did you meet?

One day, Louis overheard curious sounds wafting from Dan’s backyard. Dan was singing an early version of “Confused Animals,” and Louis was intrigued enough to walk over, introduce himself, and offer some pointers on making a proper sheep sound. They never looked back.

Who are your favorite children’s artists?

Have you heard of Louis and Dan and the Invisible Band? They’re the best. But we also like Walter Martin, Ella Jenkins, Koo Koo Kangaroo, and the Okee Dokee Brothers.

Where do you find inspiration for your songs?

Some of our songs developed out of things we sing to our own kids to entertain or motivate them. Others came out of random challenges to ourselves or each other (“let’s write a song about rodents!”). And some songs come out of our own experiences trying to feed our kids (“Yupster Food Song,” “Hot Dog”) or working through the emotional highs and lows of parenting (“Cry My Baby”).

Would you ever be willing to write a song about someone else’s children?

Sure! In fact, we take commissions for original songs – they make great birthday presents or novelty gifts for people of all ages.

Where’s the coolest place you’ve ever performed?

It’s hard to say – we’ve played so many great shows in so many fabulous locations. See the map below for a full list of our performances over the past few years.
